The Burger: For extra-luxurious flavor and juiciness, Morimoto folds fat from premium, A5-grade Wagyu beef into his American Wagyu-style beef patties. The Asian-inflected burger is garnished with a slice of barbecued Japanese Wagyu beef, shredded cabbage and special miso sauce. Wasabi mashed potatoes come on the side.

Why It Should Win:  “I think it’s going to be a delicious burger, but I would rather enjoy this event,” Morimoto says. “It’s the first time for me participating in the Burger Bash. I will follow the basic rules of making a hamburger and will try to add something new to my version and hope people enjoy it.”
