Garces, Appleman Among 'The Next Iron Chef' Contestants

The second season of "The Next Iron Chef" debuts Sunday on The Food Network, bringing the national spotlight and a wealth of opportunity to its talent-rich lineup of 10 chef-contestants that includes 2009 James Beard Award winners Nate Appleman and Jose Garces.
Season 1 winner Michael Symon, already a well-established chef before his Food Network turn, garnered even more national recognition after his victory. He since has opened two more restaurants, Michael Symon's Roast at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit and Bar Symon in Avon Lake, Ohio, in addition to Lola and Lolita in Cleveland.
