When Life Gives You Lemons ...
-- Restaurants and Institutions, 8/1/2008
Houston-based Berryhill Baja Grill is giving guests two more reasons to enjoy fresh-squeezed lemonade, that quintessential warm-weather refresher.
Through September, the 12-unit fresh-Mexican chain's Lemon-Aid Stand promotion kicks up the concept's signature mint lemonade with classic spirits and fruity liqueurs. A portion of the proceeds benefits Habitat for Humanity.
Customers can order the 56-ounce pitchers, meant to be shared by four, in four suggested flavors described on table tents: Main Squeeze Melonade, with vodka and melon liqueur; Raspberry Lynchburg Lemonade, with whiskey and black-raspberry liqueur; Pamaberry Spritz, with raspberry vodka and pomegranate liqueur; and Mexicana Lemonada, with silver tequila and blue citrus liqueur. Guests looking to exercise their options can create concoctions, mixing Berryhill's mint lemonade with vodka, tequila or whiskey and their choice of pomegranate liqueur, melon liqueur, peach schnapps, orange liqueur, black-raspberry liqueur or blue citrus liqueur.
