earth2table: PR-Building an Image
April 16, 2007
So I was sitting in my car on NE Fremont Avenue in front of my building, waiting for the stop light to change and looking at my floor-to-ceiling windows, and it suddenly hit me. I’ve got a free “billboard” to use to build my brand. The real signage and window treatment won’t not be ready until the beginning of May, so why not use the empty space to my advantage?
Several meetings later with my photographer, Tony Secker, and graphic designer, Chris Molé, and we have posters for our windows. The brand is being built, the concept is being honed and I am continuing that fine tradition of guerrilla marketing—or as I affectionately call it, shameless self promotion.
And the journey continues.
Cheers!
Stu
